customer hierarchy

the confusion on this board represents the confusion in my head. this is what i'm working on right now. understanding the new customer hierarchy in sap so i can recreate and integrate with it in the new customercare website. it's interesting stuff. but very hard for me to juggle right now.

today i felt like the motherboard of a computer that just had a glass of water spilled in on it. deciding what to do for christmas is killing me. i think today i decided just to pack taylor and charlie in my car and drive up. i'll probably get a tune-up before i go.

thanksgiving cooking 2005

today i'm heading over to linda hill's to enjoy thanksgiving dinner. i made a sweet potato casserole with struesal topping and garlic smashed potatoes. spent the entire morning cooking and downloading christmas music for my ipod.

home for the holidays

started setting up for christmas. moved the living room furniture around a bit to set up the tree by the tv. this way i can see it all the time. my tree looks so tiny in this house with high cielings and so much space. but it will be nice with all my ornaments. i'll weed out the old ornaments i don't like anymore and get rid of them.

chicago november visit

just came back from a november visit to chicago. wasn't too cold - about 50 degrees each day. friday night we went straight to mom's and started to watch the 3rd harry potter movie. saturday we got up and headed out to woodfield for some shopping. didn't last too long as everyone got tired. had sushi for dinner saturday night. sunday mom cooked a traditional italian dinner and nancy, jeff, kurt, tiffany, laura and sharon all came by as well.

orange . . .

i painted my bedroom orange. it's awesome! it's actually called baked clay. they did that on tuesday. today they are painting my kitchen (eros pink) and family room (sassy green). my big wall in the living room will be an orange/yellow. the study will be green/blue (relaxing). can't wait to get home and check it out. will try to take pictures.

what did i get myself into

this is what i ordered from office depot. i did know that there was some assembly required. the desk is perfect and what i've been searching for months.

this is what i ended up with. oh man. there are at least 50 pieces. it's going to take HOURS. i'm considering calling for assembly just to see how much it will cost.

the scraproom 11/05

Look at all the fun i'm going to have! I love the scraproom monthly club. they put together four kits. this time i ordered one extra one too. i'm going to use the halloween one for a picture of taylor with her angel costume.

ellis island by myself

well, i had a bottle of wine and still threw this layout together. since i went with the collage approach i figured i couldn't screw anything up too much. i had the papers picked out and sample photos printed on matte paper. i just used them as is. inked everything up and scrapped away. feels good to have accomplished at least one scrap-related thing this week.

POD 11/08/05

my day. started with unexpected traffic jam. work was crazy. went to the doctor and found out i was kind of crazy. i'm going through "adjustment disorder with anxiety". She doubled my lexapro and subscribed xanax to help with any panic i experience. day went on to find out my mortgage will increase plus i can't get any money out of the house. so this is now a financial burden. then i couldn't access my servers from netpark so had to drive all the way to riverview. then i got another call that another appraiser actuallly says my house is more so all should be fine. who knows . . . ?

sunday papers

today was a nice slow day. i started out by taking my time reading through the sunday paper while watching a movie. i also made a list of all the stuff i had to do. that way at least it's all written down. i didn't do anything on it yet. i stayed in bed with the dog and bird nearby most of the morning. finally got up and went to steinmart and coldstone creamery for some icecream. on the way home stopped and got some groceries. probably just more food i won't eat right away. i have a house full of food!

moved into the office and watched kingdom of heaven while enjoying leftover wine and cheese from last night. now i'm off to make kielbasa dinner and settle in for another night of tv. i think sweeps week is starting.

a new corner

it's been quite a 24 hour period so i decided to get a few things i need around the house. shouldn't be spending more money, but learned today i will probably be able to get some money out of the house to be able to pay off the debt. i got a new papasan cushin for the chair. i bought myself that chair when i was in 8th grade. it was $99 at that time and i saved up for it. i loved it so much. i've dragged it throughout the years. it's amazing what a new cushion can do! i have been working on the office. the red walls have posed a challenge. but by adding the browns and oranges i've softened it up and it actually feels warm. added the plants, pots, etc. i think the rug make the room though. feels good.

what an experience! we went to this jamaican restaurant in ybor city at the suggestion of sam, a consultant working with us on the ebiz project. as soon as we pulled up i knew it would be unique. on the outside, it looks like an old dive. upon walking in it was confirmed. we were over taken by the fast talking cephas - who was asking us what we knew about aloe vera. he continued to tell us the health benefits of eating it provided us with a long speach on colon cleansing. he put in a video on the tv above and then quickly went to work slicing up some long aloe leaves. he scrapes out the aloe on the inside and mixes it up in the blender with some water. he provided us each with a 32 oz. foam cup and told us to chug it. i had no idea what was going on! i did chug it an almost got it all finished before the gag reflex set in. supposedly i'm supposed to be "cleansed" tonight and tomorrow i'll have tons of energy.

the food here was great. i had the curry chicken and will definately go back for more. i was surprised on the amount of people that showed up just for the aloe shakes - didn't even eat. apparently this guy is a legend.
