question of the day: king tut

from question of the day:

Next month I'm going to see the King Tut exhibit at the Field's Museum in Chicago, Illinois (USA). How do you think King Tut would feel if he knew that his treasures had been dug up and were on display? Do you think it's okay that we've dug up what is essentially a grave?

hmmmm. interesting question. i think that king tut would like that his items were dug up and honored and explored by all. being a king, i assume he had a healthy does of self-importance. it be a very powerful feeling to know that thousands of years in the future people would go through my things, using them as a focal point to analyze and discover the time and place that i lived. it is kind of like living on forever.
