World Without End
I just finished "World Without End" by Ken Follett. It is the sequel to "Pillars of the Earth" which I read a few months ago. This book must have taken me about two months to get through. I listened to the audiobook which was about 46 hours long. Life was a bit busy so I didn't listen to it non-stop.
The book was good. I liked it almost as much as I liked Pillars, and Pillars is really hard to live up to. These books are so full of detail and you get to know the entire life of the characters so it is very fulfilling. This one takes places during the late 1300's (mostly in England) and much of the book centers around the effects of The Black Plague. I enjoyed this historical tragedy weaving it's way in and out of the book - it made it all seem more real.
