We took my co-worker Thiru out for his Bachelor Party on Friday. I picked Howl at the Moon because we could walk there from work, the piano bar is something different, and a bunch of drunk girls should show up late in the night with bachelorette or birthday parties.
Thiru's bachelor party ended up being a blast! Thiru is the BEST BACHELOR EVER!!!! He had no problem being the center of attention and took everything we threw at him. (He also took what all the crazy drunk girls threw at him too.)
Some of my favorite moments:
The first roast of the night. Wish I had a video of that! The piano guy called Thiru up on stage and read off some of his t-shirt. He got a girl to come up and spank him so that one thing could get crossed off the list. Then the guy tried to embarass Thiru by having him dance up on stage but Thiru was having none of it! The disco lights came on and Thiru went to town dancing away. Then the piano guy played "I'm too sexy" and had Thiru strut up and down the stage like a model. Again, Thiru just strutted his stuff! (Meanwhile, the rest of us were practically peeing in our pants laughing.)
When we out onto Hubbard for a break, some girls on their way into the bar saw Thiru's shirt and started serenading him. Then they came over to help him check off a few more things on his list It was crazy funny when the gal lifted up her shirt and flashed Thiru right there on Hubbard. She also added something to the list on his shirt "Get D*ck Kissed". Too funny!
The shots were FLYING. Peter was pumping Thiru full with water and Vishal was holding Thiru up by the belt loops of his pants for a good hour until some of Thiru's other friends showed up so they could share duties :)
Somebody decided that we needed to get Thiru back up on stage again and roast #2 was way funnier than the first one! I'm not sure which was the funniest part:
a) a swarm of girls touching and spanking Thiru
b) Thiru loosing his shirt
or c) Thiru not being able to get his shirt back on and having his head in the armhole
There were lots of other Shenanigan's. Thiru was fascinated with jumping up to touch the ceiling or light or something and we could barely keep him off stage once the place got more crowded. We even lost Thiru for about a half an hour. The below picture kind of says it all - notice how many things are checked off the shirt!
Howl at the Moon got packed and those of us who were left walked around the corner to grab some chow. We WERE headed to a strip club but the bachelor passed out on my shoulder in the cab so we decided to call it a night. At least he lasted past midnight.
